Timberwolf 5k Run/Walk
Registration for the 3rd Annual Timberwolf 5K Run/Walk is now open! This year’s T5K Run Walk will be Saturday, February 18, 2012. There are many ways to participate in this exciting community event: you can challenge yourself to run our beautiful course in the scenic Orchard Hills neighborhood, or you can enjoy the view walking with friends, family and your Northwood community. There is even a 1K Fun Run for kids and families! All athletes are expected to participate, of course, but everyone is encouraged to join the fun: students, staff members, clubs, parents, neighbors…..you name it
The purpose of the 5k Run/Walk is to raise funds to run a top-notch athletic program. This year, our Athletic Boosters is opening fundraising up to all of our Northwood on campus student organizations. If you would like to pledge any support to some of our amazing Northwood teams, clubs, or organizations- click here to print our pledge form. All donations are tax-deductible, and greatly appreciated by our players, staff, and community. The T5K is a top-shelf event featuring: • USATF-Certified Course • Micro-chip timing • Awards by category and age • Great prizes and food from our generous sponsors • A commemorative event t-shirt for all registered participants. The Wizard of Oz
This classic musical follows the adventures of Dorothy Gale and her dog Toto, as they travel by tornado to the magical land of Oz. Dorothy teams up with the Scarecrow, Tinman, and Lion as she journeys to the city of Oz in search of the Wizard who can send her back home to Kansas. Meanwhile, the Wicked Witch of the East, set on revenge after the accidental death of her sister, hunts for a way to capture Dorothy and get back her sister’s ruby slippers. Don’t miss this larger than life adventure that is sure to be a fantastic event for audiences young and old!
